Does Your Audience Know What You Do?

Subject: If I Surveyed Your Audience… Would They Know What You Do?
Read Time: 3 minutes

Say it again

🌀 The Ripple

If they don’t remember what you do, they can’t refer you.

Most people don’t lose leads because they lack skill.
They lose them because their message never landed in the first place.

If your audience has to guess what you do…
They won’t share.
They won’t refer.
They won’t buy.

It’s not a branding problem.
It’s a repetition problem.

And if you’re not tracking your message,
you’re probably not repeating it.

🧠 Narrative Shifter

If I surveyed your audience today, could they explain what you do—in one sentence?

Your message might feel obvious to you.
You live it. You post it. You coach on it.

But to your audience? It’s one of 1,000 messages they saw this week.

You need to say it more than once.
And you need to know what “it” is.

Because if you’re not clear on your core messages,
your audience definitely isn’t either.

Tool of the Week: Track What You Say—Before You Say It Again

This week’s core idea:
“If your audience can’t explain what you do, it’s time to track your message.”

Here’s how to build recognition through repetition (without sounding like a broken record):

CTRL (Core Message)
Start a running list of your recurring beliefs.
Ask:
→ What do I always say on calls or in DMs?
→ What do my top-performing posts have in common?

These are your Core 5–10 Beliefs.
Track them somewhere (I use Notion).

ALT (Alternate Takes)
Once you’ve got your beliefs, reframe them.
→ Story version
→ Spicy hot take
→ FAQ or myth-bust
→ Carousel breakdown
→ Client win or lesson learned

Same message.
New angle.
More resonance.

Reframe (Format + Delivery)
Don’t reinvent. Redistribute.
Turn one belief into:

  • a quote graphic
  • a story post
  • a reel
  • a newsletter intro
  • an offer CTA

If you’re not building from a tracked message,
you’re just guessing.

🧾 Receipts

📌 In 2023, I had 235 LinkedIn followers. By mid-2025? 2,000+. All because I’m able to stay consistent by repurposing content.

📌 One sticky note idea turned into 6 posts, a reel, and a workshop idea.

📌I just set up a Content Visibility OS for a client, they had 5 LinkedIn post that I repurposed into 25 post.

📣 Your Move
