💡 From Misalignment to Relief: A Personal Story

A quick story about alignment—literal alignment.

A few years ago, after having a baby (hello, insurance deductible being met!), I decided to visit a chiropractor. On one particular visit, I was feeling so anxious. I couldn’t explain why exactly, but it was one of those heavy, suffocating days where everything just felt wrong.

I didn’t say anything to the chiropractor about how I was feeling—just went in, got my adjustment, and listened as he explained what he’d worked on.

And then he said something that stopped me in my tracks:
“Your C2 vertebra was out of alignment. That can sometimes cause anxiety.”

I was stunned. I hadn’t mentioned my anxiety at all, but it was like he had adjusted my body and my emotions. That one adjustment brought such relief—it was the freakiest and most eye-opening experience ever.

Misalignment, whether physical or emotional, has a way of creeping into every part of your life, often without you realizing it.

🎨 Turning Happy Accidents into Gold

Just like your body, misalignment in your work or content strategy can cause stress, confusion, and inefficiency. Maybe you’re feeling anxious about your blog or your business because something is off:

  • Are you posting content your audience doesn’t connect with?
  • Are you chasing trends that don’t feel authentic to you?
  • Are you spreading yourself too thin with no clear focus?

When your goals, strategy, and content aren’t aligned, everything feels harder. But the good news is: Just like a chiropractor can adjust your spine, you can adjust your approach.

⭐️ Today’s Tip

Take a moment to ask yourself:

  • Does my current strategy reflect my long-term goals?
  • Is my audience engaged, or am I just going through the motions?
  • Am I working on things that feel right for me?

These questions are like a chiropractor’s scan—helping you spot where you need an adjustment.

🔍 Dive Deeper

This week, align your blogging and content goals by revisiting your strategy:
1️⃣ Write down your ultimate goal (e.g., build authority, grow traffic, sell a product).
2️⃣ Review your last 3 pieces of content—do they align with that goal?
3️⃣ Make one small adjustment to get closer to your purpose.
